Training
Since the Himalayan Nature Society has started the
ABC/ARV and rescue programme commenced in October 2006 in a make
shift rented room in Mcleodganj, over 8 veterinarians, many being
volunteers from abroad, have worked on the programme and contributed
their expertise.
As the programme became more streamlined in 2008,
HNS found that expert staff is very much needed to run the project
effectively than HNS approached and requested to “Help
In Suffering” at Rajasthan to train
our staff in Humane Dog Catching and Compounding. We are greatly
thankful to the entire team of HIS and Dr.Jack Reece to train our
staff members Mr.Parveen Kumar and Mr. Sanjay Kumar.
Our staff member Mr.Surinder Kumar is being trained
as Para veterinarian and humane dog catching at the National Institute
of Animal Welfare, Ballabhgarh in Haryana under the instruction
and guidance of Dr.Mark Johnson from Montana, USA Log on http://www.wildliferesources.org
