ANIMAL WELFARE PROJECT

In July 2006 mass killing (Poisoning) of stray dogs in Mcleodganj town motivated us towards the betterment of stray dogs and we have been taken initiative to control stray dogs populating and health care by sterilization, vaccination, adoption, shelter and rescue for sick and injured animals.

Wild, stray and abandoned animals can be seen injured, infected around the Kangra Valley. In Himachal Pradesh state there is not any veterinary aid program for such animals and they are totally depended on the mercy of God.

If any road accidents occur with animals they have to die with long pain and suffering.

Under animal welfare project we have treated (Sterlisation, Vaccination, Rescue) 825 Stray Dogs, 1 Himalayan Langur, 1 Goral, 1 Indian Peafowl and several Migratory Birds.

Every month we are organizing mass ABC (Animal Birth Control) camp with the help of Volunteer vets.

This project is voluntarily funded by western tourist visiting Mcleodganj. We are still in urgent need of generous donors and sponsors to establish a permanent clinic, shelter house and mobile rescue.

EDUCATION & AWARENESS PROJECT

This project plays most impotent role to motivate our children and community people towards implementation and sustainable use of the project.
