ACTIVITY REPORT
1. Five ABC camps organized and treated 824 dogs and one cat.
2. 1 Himalayan Langur,1 Goral,1 Indian Rock Python,1 Indian Peafowl
and several migratory birds rescued.
3. Plantation drives organized around Dharamsala.
4. Mass clean-up drives organized in to Dhouladhair Wildlife Sanctuary.
5. Traditional water conservation project completed.
6. On the occasion of World Environment Day and Earth Day rallies,
street plays has been organized focusing school communities.
7. Awareness campaign about Rabies organized on 8th September
(World Rabies Day).
8. Dr.S.Abdul Rahman from Commonwealth Veterinary Association
visited to Himalayan Nature Society.
9. Himalayan Nature Society has been applied for seeking Animal
Welfare Board of India’s recognition.
10. Himalayan Nature Society filed application to World Society
for Protection of Animals for having membership of WSPA’s
International network.
11. Dr.Catherine form Vets Beyond Border visited to Himalayan Nature
Society and volunteered.
12. Himalayan Nature Society and Municipal Council (local government)
signed MoU to set up a joint stray animal welfare project.
13. Small shelter house been built to keep stray animals for ABC
program.
